I thought I'd post a couple of points on DIY AC clutch and coil replacement as I have been unable to find anything online. The excessive belt noise, has now been diagnosed as the clutch on the compressor. When I press in the clutch, it now feels 'soft' and I have to push it all the way down to the floor before it seems to engage.
